DigitaKids was created in Brazil to help children learn touch typing in a playful, correct way — with visual finger guidance (Finger Mapping) and progressive levels.
It is an independent, non-commercial educational project: online play and the offline Windows app are free. The goal is to support families, schools, and computer labs.

What ages is DigitaKids for?
Designed for children roughly 6–10 years old, from alphabet practice to words and phrases — useful for early literacy and elementary keyboard skills.
What is touch typing?
Typing without looking at the keyboard, using the correct finger for each key (home row ASDF–JKL). DigitaKids teaches this with visual finger guides.
Do I need the internet?
In the browser, yes (at least on first load). The Windows download works offline after install.
Is it free?
Yes. Online play and the offline download are free, with no subscription. Voluntary donations (Pix in Brazil or PayPal internationally) help keep the project running — see how to support.
